The Meridian of today bears little resemblance to its previous self, though you can still see shadows of its prior self if you visit downtown. Today, Meridian offers entertainment, fine dining, and plenteous shopping. The Village at Meridian has movie theaters, an arcade at Big Al’s, and many stores and dining options with high-end establishments. In addition, Meridian is home to Roaring Springs, one of the largest outdoor water parks in the country.
